The Hungarian Focus is a new, independent and private homepage. Our goal is to take part in the reshaping of our ’Brave New World’, where whatever exists today, more is required tomorrow. For good or ill, information management (cp. media, journalism and science) affects our lives because of its dominance in economic affairs, ever more so, education and culture. When information management serves this materialistic hedonism then colonises also our spiritual spheres.

This site, therefore intends to provide a ’Hungarian focus’ on the wide spectrum of publications i.e. the fruits of information management(abuses) that shape the image of Hungarians. We are, however, interested in the image of Central-Europe as well, where the nations’ present and past have much in common, such as cultural similarities, value settings and public beliefs. Neither miss our focus the ethnical and cultural roots of the Hungarians originating from Central and Inner Asia and the Caucasus.

On that account ’to be Hungarian’ meant in the past and means nowadays as well, especially a ’commonwealth’ upon values chosen on a voluntary basis by individuals related to the same or different ethnics. Thus being Hungarian is your personal, spiritual choice while even preserving your cultural identity and/or linguistic belonging (cp.’Hungarus’-convictions). The present homepage is considered as Hungarian focus in this regard.

Our comments and studies are written occasionally, on a voluntary basis, besides full time occupation and family. Nevertheless, these works are founded on serious, sustained arguments and evidence developed by local and foreign masterminds, whereby every author is liable for his/her article
