II. Police State versus Democracy (2006)

Tragic series of events happened during of the 50th anniversary of the Hungarian Revolution and War for Freedom in Budapest. Brutal police violated seriously the human rights when used psychical terror against
antigovernment demonstrators then prisoners and denied legal protection of them. The communist and neoliberal government of Hungary hushes up abuses of power. The foreign mainstream media not really gave local news or simply echoed the opinion of this government hostile to the Hungarians. The European Union keeps silence while dangerous flash point emerges in Central Europe. Human rights are not internal affairs.
